What are your hours?
As of May 1st, 2021, we're open Monday through Thursday from 11 AM to 3 PM, Friday and Saturday from 12 PM to 9 PM and Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM. We have our "Music & Vino" (live music) Friday from 5:30-8:30 PM, Saturday from 1-4 PM and 5:30-8:30 PM and Sunday from 1:30-4:30 PM. We do close occasionally for specific events or holidays so please refer to our online event calendar or our Facebook and Instagram pages.
You can purchase wine by the glass or bottle at anytime during our hours of operation. Our brick oven pizzas are offered at 3 PM on Friday and 12 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
Can I make a reservation?
We do not accept reservations for a general visit or for our weekend live music (Music & Vino). Tables are first come, first served.
We only offer reservations for one of two events:
1. A large group wine tasting (one of three tasting options) for 10-20 guests, booked in advance. Additional food and wine may be purchased a la carte following the wine tasting and will include a 25% service fee on the entire tab.
2. A paid table reservation for up to 30 guests, booked in advance.
- Both options require a $200 fee to officially book the date and time. The $200 is not applied to any food or wine purchases and is not returned.
- Both options allow you to have the necessary festivity around your celebration and includes your reserved tables for an unlimited amount of time to decorate with tablecloths, flowers, banners/signs, balloons, etc. and to bring a cake (both of which the public is not permitted to do).
- No outside food (other than a cake/cupcakes) is permitted. We do not permit open flames, confetti, glitter or either inside of balloons.

How much are your tastings?
Walk-in wine tastings are not currently available.
If you'd like to reserve a large group tasting in advance for 10-20 guests Friday through Sunday (8-20 guests Monday through Thursday), please email Jess, our Event Coordinator, at email@example.com. Please do not call, as all event information is provided via email only. If your party is less than the minimum, you will still be required to pay for the minimum. For more than 20 guests. you'll need to book a private event. As of April 2nd, 2021, we'll only be scheduling one large group tasting per day.
We also offer customized wine flights (may be unavailable on weekends). You'll receive four 2.5 oz. pours of your choice of wines (1.5 oz. for dessert wines), and the price is $16 + tax. Sparkling wines are excluded unless you'd like to purchase the bottle.
Can we get a tour?
We do not take walk-in tours. Private tours of 10 or more people can be booked through Jess, our Event Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Where are you located?
Hopewell Valley Vineyards is located at 46 Yard Road Pennington, NJ 08534. You can get to us directly from Route 31.
Can we bring outside food?
Outside food (or drink) is not permitted. NO EXCEPTIONS. If a guest is seen with outside food, they will be asked to leave the winery. Some items from our light fare menu are available throughout the week. Our full food and pizza menus are available Friday starting at 3 PM and all day Saturday and Sunday.
Can we walk through the vineyards and pick the grapes on the vines?
Guests are not permitted to walk through the vineyards, nor do we allow guests to pick their own grapes. The vineyards are private property. Guests may take pictures in front of the vineyards, but please take care not to disturb the grapes. If we observe you picking grapes, you will be asked to leave the winery. Thank you for your cooperation.

Can I come in for a venue tour?
Absolutely! Venue tours are by appointment only and must be scheduled in advance with Jess, our Event Coordinator, to ensure she or our owner Violetta are available on the day you'd like to visit. Venue tours can be scheduled by emailing Jess, our Event Coordinator, at email@example.com.
What kind of events do you host?
At our vineyard, we service a wide range of events like corporate gatherings, weddings and private parties (birthday parties, bridal/baby showers, rehearsal dinners, etc.). We have both indoor and outdoor spaces for your events. We can accommodate an unlimited number of people for outdoor events, in addition to our 40'x80' covered tent (April through November).
Our smaller upper tasting room offers a very private setting, featuring a copper-top bar, dimmed lighting, slate floors, exposed wooden beams, copper furnishings and a wood-burning furnace. The space can accommodate up to 50 guests. If you're looking for a bigger room, our larger lower piano room can accommodate up to 100 guests. This room features a copper-top bar, our brick oven, a full stage, dance floor, presentation capabilities, surround sound, a full kitchen to be used by our caterer (or one you can also appoint) and viewing access of our downstairs wine cellar. We also have a more industrial-looking tank room with a full bar and stainless steel tanks that can accommodate 65-70 guests. It is also a great space for a DJ and dance floor during a wedding.
Are dogs allowed?
We love dogs! Leashed dogs are permitted outside only, unless they're a service animal (with identification). They must be well-trained and people friendly.
Are children permitted at the winery?
While we understand guests may wish to include children at the winery, we are an adult establishment. In order to provide exceptional service to all of our guests, we ask that guests under the age of 21 be supervised at all times inside and outside the winery. If unsupervised children are seen running around or picking grapes, the party will be asked to leave the winery.
What kind of food do you serve?
We offer our brick oven pizzas, as well as a light fare menu containing items such as cheese plates, salad, spanakopita, burrata, chips and salsa, brownie bites, etc. Friday through Sunday.
Can I bring other alcohol, or do you serve any kind of other alcohol?
We are a vineyard, first and foremost, so unfortunately, we do not and cannot legally serve or permit alcohol other than our wine. According to the NJ Alcohol and Beverage Control’s rules and regulations, consumption of any alcohol besides Hopewell Valley Vineyards wine is strictly prohibited on our premises. No exceptions. This includes flasks/thermoses and unopened bottled for favors/displays/gifts/etc. If a guest is observed with outside alcohol, they'll be asked to leave the winery. We do not offer wine slushies.
Do you have outdoor heaters?
In colder months, we have a few small tables under our archway with two propane heaters. However, we cannot, in a reasonable manner, provide enough heaters for our expansive outdoor space (large courtyard, deck and field).
Can I bring my own lawn chairs?
We have plenty of seating in our courtyard, on our deck and under our 40'x80' covered tent (April through November). Guests are also welcome to bring their own chairs and blankets.
I just got married! Can we come to the winery to take photographs?
We're very excited for your wonderful event! However, under no circumstances are guests, such as a bride and groom, permitted to come to Hopewell Valley Vineyards to take photographs around the winery or vineyards without prior communication and approval from the owner. Please email Jess, our Event Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org and provide details to be discussed with the owner in regards to professional/amateur photographs at the winery.
Do you ship wine to my location?
We can ship to the following locations: California, Colorado, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C.. Any questions regarding ordering/shipping wine, please email Liz, our Office Manager, at email@example.com.
Do you offer case discounts?
We offer 10% off 1-2 cases, 15% off 3-4 cases and 20% off 5+ cases in-store only and free shipping on a case or more online. Case discounts do not apply to private events.
