With more than a thousand private events hosted, we offer seasoned experience, a personal touch, and genuine care to every gathering.
We bring three generations of Tuscan wine making experience to the lovely Hopewell Valley, produce award-winning wines, and our farm’s hospitality and leadership in the community is second to none.
Whether it be an intimate birthday party, corporate event, wedding, reunion, local 5K fundraiser, or festival, we hold pride knowing that our guests create memories on our farm to cherish for the rest of their lives.

Bright and cheery Tuscan-inspired room with vaulted ceiling, skylights, exposed beams, wood-pallet bar, awards display, and cast-iron stove for colder months. Portable projector/screen available for screenings or presentations. The covered outdoor deck offers north-western views out to the vineyards. Best spot to enjoy a sunset.

Our industrial-style tank room is where we house and ferment around 18,000 gallons of wine, and also host more casual get-togethers. Equipped with an industrial-style bar top, slate-gray ceramic tiles, and eight stainless steel tanks. NOTE: this space is visually separated from the bottling station located in the same building, and is connected to the winery’s main public building by the covered archway.

Our former bottling and tank room was renovated to exceptional standards in 2009 and transformed into our main space for public and private gatherings. Features include a musical stage with grand piano, stage lighting, copper top bar, Italian-inspired brick oven for artisan pizza, slate-floor, handmade copper fixtures, and access to wine cellar. A large built-in screen and projector make this room ideal for corporate events or video screenings.

After years of seeing our guests negotiating with tent rental companies, we invested in our own high-quality pole tent in order to simplify our guests’ needs and planning. We erect the tent every spring and dismantle it every autumn. Its spacious interior allows guests to feel both indoors and outdoors, and enjoy the farm’s vines, flower gardens, nearby piazza and expansive fields.
IMPORTANT NOTE: to avoid unnecessary complications from inclement weather, over-bookings, and restroom or kitchen usage, we do not host ‘outdoor-only’ events, even in the summer. Every tented event reserves an indoor space for its exclusive usage.

Over our years in business, we’ve discovered along the way that many guests appreciate when most if not all of their event needs can be taken care of under the same roof. That’s why today HVV proudly offers in-house catering services on any scale, for those wishing to take advantage of the convenience, cost-effectiveness, and bonafide Italian cooking. While our menu is Mediterranean-inspired, our all-time favorite American appetizers will satisfy every palate, too. Please note: When we cater, no outside food or drink is permitted. The one exception is dessert, although HVV does not cut cakes.

If you’re looking for other catering options, please feel free to bring in an outside caterer. If the company you select has not offered their services before at our venue, a caterer's tour is required to ensure a smooth event. To host any event at Hopewell Valley Vineyards, wine purchase minimums are applied.
As the farm at the forefront of the Right To Farm Act legal status hearing back in 2009, an event that shaped the future of all vineyards statewide, we have fought hard for our farm’s sustainability, livelihood, and right to host events as a means of promoting, selling, and distributing our farm products.
As a farm and not a catering hall, wine is, understandably, our primary business and focus. Therefore, if you’re inquiring only for the use of our facilities, we thank you for your interest but kindly suggest you look elsewhere for your event needs.
We consider our delicious wines to be our most unique advantage and offering as a venue, no matter what the event.
If you have yet to taste our wines, please contact us to arrange a complimentary private wine tasting. We can provide wine and food pairing suggestions once you have selected your catered dishes.
